Shipping policy

Every piece is made for you, and only you. We are a slow fashion brand in Accra, Ghana, and every garment is crafted to order with intention and care. Because of this, we ask that you read our shipping and delivery policy carefully before placing your order. We want the experience of receiving your Rifa Rifa piece to be as considered as the process of making it.

 

Processing Time

Standard processing time: 7 – 14 business days from the date your order is confirmed.

Please note that processing time is separate from shipping transit time. Your total fulfilment window is: processing time + shipping transit.

Rifa ships from Accra, Ghana, to customers domestically and internationally. We partner exclusively with DHL and FedEx to ensure your order is handled with the reliability it deserves.

Transit times are estimates and begin once your order has been dispatched. They do not include weekends, public holidays, or any delays arising from customs clearance.

 

Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a direct link to monitor your delivery in real time. 

If you experience any issues with tracking or your parcel appears to be delayed, please contact us at shoprifarifa@gmail.com and we will liaise with the courier on your behalf.

 

Customs, Duties & Import Taxes

For international orders, your parcel may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees upon arrival in your country. These charges are determined by your local customs authority and are entirely outside of Rifa's control.

All customs fees are the sole responsibility of the customer. We recommend contacting your local customs office for guidance before placing your order if you are unsure of the charges applicable in your country.

Please note that Rifa is required by law to declare the full commercial value of all orders on customs documentation. We are unable to mark items as gifts or misrepresent their value.

 

Returns & Exchanges

We hold our craft to the highest standard and we stand behind every piece we send out. Because all of our garments are made to order, returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, subject to the conditions below.

To be eligible for a return, your item must:

       Be unworn and unwashed, in its original condition

       Have all original tags and packaging intact

       Not be a custom or bespoke piece — these are final sale

       Be raised within 7 days of the confirmed delivery date

How to initiate a return:

Send an email to shoprifarifa@gmail.com with your order number, your reason for returning, and clear photographs of the item. Our team will review your request and respond within 2 business days with next steps. 

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is being returned due to a fault on our part. In the case of a confirmed defect or error, Rifa Rifa will cover all return shipping and arrange for a replacement or full refund at your preference.
